That's why we are excited to announce that we are now adding Roman Clay to our painting skills! The Roman Clay technique is an ancient method of painting that has been used for centuries. It involves mixing natural pigments with a mixture of fine clay and water, creating a textured, multi-layered effect on a wall. This technique is perfect for creating rich, organic textures and adding depth and dimension to any wall.
Choose your color scheme: Roman clay comes in a range of colors, from warm earthy tones to cool blues and grays. Think about the overall look and feel of your space and choose a color scheme that complements your existing decor.
2. Decide on the finish: Roman clay can be applied in different ways to achieve different finishes. A smooth, polished finish will give a more contemporary look, while a textured finish will add depth and interest to your walls. Consider the style of your home and the desired effect when choosing your finish.
3. Prepare the surfaces: Before we apply the Roman clay, we will make sure your surfaces are clean and free of dust and debris. For walls and ceilings, we may need to fill in any cracks or holes and apply a primer.
4. Applying the Roman clay: We will first Mix the clay with water and apply it to your surfaces with a trowel or a spatula. Working in small sections and applying the clay in thin layers, building up the texture gradually... This is when all the magic happens!
