Kristina Guerrero’s Golden Uptown Home

Updated: Apr 26, 2021

It was all smiles and sunshine on a beautiful Saturday morning when we pulled up to Kristina’s home for a photo shoot of her new paint job. This spring, we got the opportunity to collaborate with her on her new home in Uptown Phoenix and give it that special touch that exudes ranch-style charm and personality. We thoroughly enjoyed the process and watching her property transform from a house into a home that she can truly call her own.

For those of you who don’t already know her, Kristina Guerrero is an Emmy-nominated TV personality, host, actor, writer, producer, and Jill-of-all-trades. Her career in media kicked off while working as an entertainment producer in Los Angeles, which ultimately led to her being a host and correspondent for “Inside Edition” and “E! News.” Cool fact, she was the first Latina host of the E! News program, which airs in more than 150 countries and 26 languages. Today, she is one of the hosts of “The List” which is a popular lifestyle show that airs in 44 markets. In addition to being a TV superstar, she is a dedicated wife and mom of two boys, living her best life in Phoenix.

When we initially reached out to Kristina about partnering on this project, she mentioned that it couldn’t have been better timing considering she just bought a new ranch-style home over the holidays. She was planning on starting her renovation with an exterior paint transformation and that’s where we came in! After checking out the home in person, it was determined that we would paint the entire exterior in shades of black and white, along with the exterior doors, two backyard pergolas, side gates, and backyard wall. The one fun pop of color that was included was the front door and after conducting a poll with her followers, Kristina decided to go with the appropriately-named “Hollywood Starlet” by Dunn-Edwards. It truly gave the house a little extra pizazz to round out the entire project. We also used Dunn-Edwards Evershield on everything in order to promote long-lasting durability and provide maximum protection against UV color fade, mildew, water intrusion, and any cracking or peeling.

It’s safe to say that Kristina loves the look of her new home and we had a wonderful experience working with her and her family on this fun reno project!
